Switch between Live edit and CSV export, setup export options

REMEMBER: filters, categories, manufacturers, suppliers and setting are common with “Live edit”

Upload / download CSV export / import files

(depend on switch “prices/discount” will be exported prices.csv or discounts.csv !!! )

(depend on switch “prices/discount” any CSV file will be uploaded as prices.csv or discounts.csv !!!)

REQUIRED FIELDS

column (1) “Product ID ” is required field

column 1 can be empty with option “Use SKU (Reference number) for import instead ID” otherwise, if is empty, row is skipped

column (2) “Attribute ID ”

If  “Attribute ID” is “0” same discount will be applied for all combinations.   If “Attribute ID” is number > 0, discount will be applied for this ID attribute combination. “Attribute ID” field for PrestaShop 1.4.x must be 0. For PrestaShop 1.5 and above depends on setting “Apply separate discount for each combination”.

column (8) “Type” is required field

“Type” field must begin with “a” for amount type, “p” for percentage type or “f” for fixed type.

column (9) “Value” is required field

If You set “Value” to 0, blank or not numeric, existing reduction for this ID product will be deleted.”Value” for percentage type add as 10 for 10% , for amount type it is discount in default currency, for fixed type it is value in default currency.

OPTIONAL FIELDS

column (4) “SKU reference” – can be used instead “Product ID”, but not recommended – only if SKU is unique for each product.

all other columns are optional (10,11,12,13,14) or informative (3,5,6,7)

column (11, 12)  “Date From” “Date To”

should be in format 2013-05-23 13:55:00. If is empty or not date format, 0000-00-00 00:00:00 is assumed(unlimited period)

“Category Name”, “SKU Reference”, “Product Name”, “Price/Attr.impact”, “Final Price” – optional fields for your reference. Can remain blank, will not be affected.

If “Customer Group ID” and  “Currency ID” is empty, is assumed ID = 0.

Rows without discount can be deleted from csv for better import speed.

OPTIONAL FIELDS

all other columns are  informative (3,5,6,7)

Rollback prices from backup  (useful if “Live edit” operation incomplete)

column (6) “Price/Attr.impact” – used for information, but can be used for rollback! (copy column (6) to column (9) and set column (8) to “f” )
